The MSLCE program is thrilled to announce that Dr. Michael L. Counter Jr. will serve as the keynote speaker for the 2025 MSLCE Convocation ceremony on Friday, August 22, 2025! Dr. Counter is a visionary leader at the crossroads of media, culture, & strategic innovation. With a career spanning executive roles in branded entertainment, publishing, government, and corporate development, he brings a unique blend of creativity and clarity to everything he touches.

As the inaugural Vice President, Head of Branded Entertainment and Strategic Partnerships at Al Roker Entertainment, he leads the company’s development of brand-funded content and experiences, overseeing a slate of scripted and unscripted projects that merge storytelling with purpose.
