On Friday, Sept. 18, SGA President Emily Castillo Melean ’28 had the honor of speaking at the Investiture Ceremony for J. Michael Haynie, Syracuse University’s 13th Chancellor and President, at the JMA Wireless Dome.

Surrounded by students, faculty, staff, alumni and academic delegates from across the Orange community, the ceremony marked a new chapter in Syracuse University’s history.

We’re proud to see student leadership represented in moments that shape our campus community. Swipe to see the full speech!
