He turned an old fish & tomato packing plant in the Warehouse Arts District into a full-blown glass art wonderland: gallery, sculpture garden, and a working hot shop where artists blow glass in real time. We caught a piece going from molten glob to finished form in minutes - glass art really is equal parts science and magic.
