Retirement planning is one of the biggest financial goals we’ll ever face, and somehow we talk about it like it’s no big deal.

Think about it. We’re already stretched thin trying to keep up with life while we’re working, and at some point we’re expected to have saved enough to cover 20+ years of living without a paycheck. That’s not a small task, that’s decades of planning. Yet it gets treated like an afterthought instead of the major milestone it actually is.

It’s okay to admit this feels like a lot. Most people feel that way too, they just don’t say it out loud.
