Usually I’m sharing New England spots, but Minneapolis proved it can get weird/magical real fast. This list is good for snake lovers, gluten free, artsy fartsy cool people.
Here’s what we did:

+ House of Balls: An artist studio made of reworked trash that feels like a portal to another dimension. If you’re lucky, you’ll meet the artist himself and maybe he’ll let you use his plasma machine houseof2balls

+ Snake Discovery: Near St. Paul! You can actually hold the snakes and lizards, the staff is very knowledgeable… this was the reason we flew to Minneapolis, my partners daughter is snake obsessed and we loved it so much here that we actually went twice snake.discovery

+ Minneapolis Sculpture Garden: Non-negotiable for the iconic giant cherry on the spoon photo, there’s ice cream etc. being served from a truck walkerartcenter

+ Hold The Wheat: A 10/10 bakery stop whether you’re gluten-free or not, cute nostalgic choices holdthewheatgf

+ Brasa Premium Rotisserie: Ideal gluten free American Creole menu (not featured in the Reel but def worth adding… we stopped here after visiting Snake Discovery on our way back to Minneapolis) brasa_rotisserie

+ Linden Hills & Lake Harriet: Walk the neighborhood, rent bikes, or take the historic trolley over to the neighboring lake SO BEAUTIFUL minneapolisparks

Thank you Minnesota!!!!
