Fresh, flavorful, and rooted in 25+ years of Turkish family tradition 🇹🇷🥙✨ donerg 

We visited DönerG Turkish & Mediterranean Grill at The Market Place in Irvine and got a serious taste of the menu!

DonerG’s story began with the Aslan family and their traditional Turkish recipes, long before Mediterranean fast-casual became what it is today. Their döner is still prepared the traditional way, stacked by hand, seasoned, slow-roasted on a vertical spit, and sliced fresh to order. Their sauces are made in-house too, and after trying ALL of the spreads and sauces, I can confirm you’ll want to do the same. 😍 My personal favorite was the smoky, creamy baba ganoush! 🍆

Our spread included:

🥙 Istanbowl with rice, beef & chicken döner, veggies, shepherd’s salad, falafel + pita
🥖 Original Fladenbrot loaded with beef döner, fries, veggies, pickles + sauces
🥑 Keto-G Wrap with chicken, avocado, tomato, feta, olives + jajik
🧀 Crispy Feta Cheese Rolls
✨ Kibbeh stuffed with seasoned ground beef, onions + pine nuts
🥣 And ALL those spreads + sauces!

Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and Marlen and Julian were both so kind and helpful throughout our visit. 🤍

We visited the Irvine location at The Market Place, but DonerG currently has six Southern California locations, so we already have an excuse to start making our way through the rest. 👀 We will absolutely be back!
