🎃I’m officially coming out of Halloween media styling retirement and resurrecting my over-the-top tablescapes! Years ago, I created these for media features, and each one usually began with a single plate, serving piece or unexpected homegoods find that set the entire theme in motion. Then, naturally, I took it entirely too far.

❓This year, I need your help choosing a theme! Please give me your ideas!

🎂 Important to note that sipstosugars did all cookies and sugardroptn did the cakes and treats. emilyunscripted and sarabrigman were my right hand women.

✅... and because this sometimes comes up, I want to share this warmly and respectfully: I love celebrating the playful side of Halloween. The name comes from All Hallows’ Eve, the evening before All Saints’ Day, followed by All Souls’ Day, when European Christians traditionally honored and remembered loved ones who had died.

It comes from the same European Christian history that gave us many of our Christmas customs, including the tradition of gift-giving, inspired by St. Nicholas giving gifts to children. Over time, families have adapted both holidays and their traditions in ways that reflect their own faith, values and culture.

❌ You won’t find devils, gore or anything truly frightening in my home. My version of Halloween is imaginative, nostalgic, maybe a little spooky and an excuse to create memories for my kids!
