Meet C2C Maxwell “Max” Starkman from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
 
An Electrical and Computer Engineering major with a Chinese minor, Max chose #USAFA for its purpose, challenges and professional development. As the first in his family to attend a military service academy, he is pursuing a career as a Developmental Engineer, where he hopes to support the research, development and acquisition of next-generation Air and Space capabilities.
 
Experiences that helped shape his development include:
🚀 𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐄𝐗. Developed and executed space training for usspaceforce selects, gaining experience supporting emerging operational domains.
🛩️ 𝐂𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡. Researched and prototyped solutions to real-world Special Operations Forces problems, applying engineering skills to operational challenges.
🛸 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠. Serves as Drone Racing Team Cadet-In-Charge, gaining hands-on experience with the rapidly evolving field of unmanned aerial systems.
 
Max also supports af_falcons athletics, especially Swimming and Diving, where he enjoys cheering on classmates who balance academics, military training and intercollegiate competition.
