## Caption

Every year on September 11th, sunlight moves across the World Trade Center site in alignment with the timeline of the attacks, entering the Oculus skylight and tracing across the floor between the moments the towers were struck and fell.

This Friday marks 25 years, and the alignment will be visible between 8:46 AM and 10:28 AM - the exact window between the first plane hitting the North Tower and its collapse. (Via wtc explorewtc)

It’s called the Wedge of Light, and was created as part of Daniel Libeskind’s original 2003 “Memory Foundations” master plan for the site.
