#911Anniversary #September11

93% of Americans 35 and older say they remember exactly where they were or what they were doing the moment they heard about the attacks.

When we surveyed Americans in 2001, following the attacks, 71% said they felt depressed and 49% said they having difficulty concentrating.

News coverage made nearly all Americans feel sad, yet 63% said they could not stop watching.

The attacks transformed public opinion, but many changes were short-lived.

In late 2001, trust in the federal government was higher than the previous three decades – and has not reached that height since.

We asked the 10% of adults who were not yet born in 2001 (ages 18-24 today) how they first heard about the events.

60% say they learned about the attacks in class or through schoolwork.

What do you remember about 9/11?
