A major milestone this morning at DurangoResort’s north expansion project as crews from SuffolkBuild, the general contractor, maneuvered the largest piece of structural steel on the project into place. 🏗️

Weighing approximately 180,000 pounds and spanning nearly 140 feet long and 20 feet tall, the massive steel truss required a crane weighing roughly 650,000 pounds to perform the lift with an additional helper crane to support.

Congratulations to the entire crew that made this possible!
