Tyler Perry is ready to slow ALL the way down.

After decades of building one of the biggest entertainment empires in Hollywood, Perry says he’s entering a different chapter.

The 57-year-old filmmaker revealed that he plans to move to Puerto Rico at the beginning of 2027 and “pull back a whole lot” from work. His reason? He wants to enjoy more time with his 11-year-old son, Aman, and actually take a moment to enjoy the life he worked so hard to build.

“Getting older inspired this,” Perry said, explaining that it’s time to slow down, spend more time with his son and take it all in.

After years of movies, television, Tyler Perry Studios and countless projects, Perry is choosing to make more room for LIFE.

Could you see yourself walking away from the hustle and moving somewhere peaceful once you’ve accomplished your goals?
