* Equipment doesn’t matter. Some of my most interesting pieces have been shot and edited directly from my iPhone. Sometimes what you have is all you need. 

* Lighting is a huge advantage, use interesting lighting to evoke emotion in your viewer. Sometimes moving your light source a few feet makes a major impact.

* Always have a story to tell. Having a vision for your videos will help drive your decision making process, and simplify your workflow.
