Most homeowners don’t realize this, but a 3% mortgage could be an asset, and an interest we may very well not see again for a very long time.

If you have a 3% mortgage, before selling your home, consider these questions:

➡️ Could you rent it out instead?
➡️ Could you keep it as a long term investment and hold it?
➡️ Do you need the cash from your equity or could you find another way to access the money? 
➡️ If you want to buy another home, can you hold two mortgages at the same time and keep your asset?

Sometimes, the smartest long term move isn’t selling, it’s holding on to it.

And now that we are seeing mortgages in the high 6’s, your mortage may be more valuable than you think.
