Jalen Brunson is bringing one of his most personal Kobe PEs to a wider audience with the “What The Rick” colorway, inspired by his father Rick Brunson’s NBA career. The pair combines a wide range of colors across the upper, creating a mismatched look that reflects the many stops Rick made throughout his playing days.

The design brings together eight team-inspired color palettes representing the Knicks, Celtics, Trail Blazers, Bulls, Raptors, Clippers, SuperSonics and Rockets. Each section adds its own color and identity, giving the Kobe 5 Protro a true “What The” aesthetic while keeping the original silhouette intact.
