Ari Emanuel is pulling back the curtain on his rise through Hollywood in his first memoir, ‘Roll the Calls.’

The book traces his childhood on Chicago’s South Side, his experience with severe dyslexia and his start in the CAA mailroom before founding Endeavor and merging it with William Morris. Emanuel later became the real-life inspiration for Ari Gold on ‘Entourage.’

Written with Pulitzer Prize winner J.R. Moehringer, ‘Roll the Calls’ will explore the successes, setbacks and persistence behind Emanuel’s career. It arrives Sept. 22 with a first printing of 250,000 copies.
