When Kevin Durant was asked if he believes he can eventually reach No. 2 on the NBA’s all-time scoring list, currently occupied by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and KD’s response was hilarious. 😭🔥 When the number of games needed was brought up, Durant immediately wanted to know one thing: “Are you factoring the average?” 😂

Once he heard an estimate of 268 games to catch Kareem, KD did the math his own way: “25? God damn!” 😭 That reaction says everything. Durant knows climbing that high this late into his career would require not only elite scoring, but several more seasons of staying healthy and consistently putting up major numbers.

Regardless of whether he ultimately reaches Kareem, Kevin Durant’s longevity as a scorer is ridiculous. 🐐🎯 He entered the NBA in 2007 and nearly two decades later we’re still discussing how far he can climb among the greatest scorers basketball has ever seen. For a player whose game has always been built around pure buckets, seeing KD continue chasing names like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar this deep into his career is special. 💯🔥

How high do y’all think KD finishes on the all-time scoring list? 👀
