lovable.dev was used to build a new website that makes finding great cafés across New York City much easier, especially for people looking for a place to work.

After spending months trying different spots around the city, solo developer Jonas started keeping track of the cafés that actually worked well for remote work.

Eventually, that personal list became something much more useful.

Using Lovable, he turned it into an interactive web app where people can explore work-friendly cafés across NYC, browse them on a map, check community ratings, see WiFi and outlet information, find out whether a spot is currently open, and get a better sense of the overall vibe before heading there.

It’s a simple idea built around a real problem, then turned into a polished product by one person.

A good example of how quickly a personal workaround can become something genuinely useful when the barrier between having an idea and building it gets much smaller.
