It was birthday month in August (Leo’s stand up) I feel tremendous anxiety year after year rooted in the uncertainty of who really wants me around versus who simply needs something from me. It's a terrifying question, but one that's borne from an J-level of fame, mixed with the childhood wound of an absent father. Try as I might, and as arrogant as I might be, August always reminds me that I’m never as sure of anything as I hope that I am. So as I celebrate another year of life, I sit back, and reflect on whether the intimacy facilitated through my camera is both a blessing and a curse supercharged by my former best friend the internet.
