#CapitalOnePartner Growing up, money was something we really didn’t talk about, and I’m very intentional about “doing money differently” with Summer and Cooper.

I want money to be a normal conversation in our home. I want them to feel comfortable asking questions, hearing us talk about financial decisions and, as they grow, participating in those conversations themselves.

As I shared in my conversation with capitalonecafe, financial literacy doesn’t always have to look like a formal lesson. Sometimes it starts simply by creating a home where talking about money is normal.
