In 1948, one man broke a speed record wearing nothing but a bathing suit.

Rollie Free needed two more miles an hour to break the American motorcycle speed record on his Vincent — so he stripped down to his swim trunks and laid flat across the tank at 150 miles an hour. The photo became the most famous image in motorcycling history.
