In 1985, Freddie Spencer did something no rider has ever done before or since.

He entered both the 500cc and 250cc World Championships in the same season. Two completely different Honda machines. Two completely different sets of factory rivals. Same race weekends, different grids.

Seven wins in the 500. Six wins in the 250. Two world titles at twenty-three years old.

A wrist injury the following year took everything away. He never reached that level again.
