This is what it looks like when a dream refuses to die.

From Boavista da Praia’s 2023/24 national-title team, through Estrela da Amadora and Atlético da Malveira, Wilson “Wi” Tavares kept climbing. 

Last season at Malveira: 9 goals and 5 assists in 30 matches.

Now, at 24, he wears No. 18 for GD Chaves in Liga Portugal 2 and the next chapter is already being written. 

He opened his league account for Chaves on August 8, then delivered another statement this weekend.

On September 13, Wilson started in Chaves’ 1–0 win over Feirense, hit the bar with a powerful strike and combined with André Rodrigues for the winning goal. grupo_desportivo_chaves 🇨🇻🇵🇹🫂
