Anthropic just modeled your 2030 salary

Anthropic built a model showing three possible AI futures for the economy by 2030.

Modest- Adoption is slow, life barely changes. 

Substantial: AI does half of knowledge work, productivity rises, but wages barely move. 

Extreme: AI does nearly all knowledge work.

In that extreme case, the economy grows 32%, but knowledge-worker wages fall over 10%, and nearly 1 in 5 knowledge workers could be unemployed.

Right now all three paths still look identical. 

They start splitting apart around 2027.
