A $399 robot that learns tricks with AI

Microduck just pulled in 10,000+ pre-orders in 5 days, over $4 million in tiny robots.

Inside the 25cm frame: 15 motors, a camera, a depth sensor, motion trackers, and a beak that grabs objects.

It first learns behaviours in simulation, then transfers what works to the real robot, and developers can share those behaviours with each other.

It already walks, crouches, grabs, follows a laser, and roller skates. Can't carry more than 100 grams, so it's not a butler.

The point is, physical AI just got cheap enough to experiment with.

Share this with someone who loves robotics.

Save it; this is worth watching.
