Plant Care 101: Environment Matters 🌱

Sometimes plant care has absolutely nothing to do with the plant sitting in the pot.

Sometimes it’s about realizing that you cannot measure growth by somebody else’s environment.

People will look at your life through the lens of what THEY were taught success was supposed to look like.

Degrees.
Titles.
Designer labels.
A certain kind of house.
A certain kind of career.
A life that makes sense on paper.

And if you chose something different, somehow they think that’s the gag.

Baby, there is no gag.

I built a life that actually belongs to me.

I learned what environments I thrive in.
I learned what needed pruning.
I learned what I could no longer carry.
And most importantly, I stopped allowing people who never understood my roots to determine whether I was growing.

That’s plant care too.

Rooted. Sovereign. Whole.
