#TeamToyota They say that there are two types of rally drivers. Those who have rolled, and those who will roll. Guess I got that out of the way! During the first stage on Saturday up Wasp, I drove over a rock that punched a big hole in the exhaust. My mind instantly went into thinking about the integrity of the car and I missed a left two minus pace note going into the next corner. Slid off a 10 foot drop and that was the end of our day. Very thankful that @mikarajasalo and I are totally okay it could’ve been way worse. The car is also mostly fine. Bummed out but we got some stage miles and I actually learned pace notes while driving. Such an incredible experience. I can’t wait to do more rally! Because THIS is rally! Massive thank you to so many people! @rivercityrally for the amazing car and hospitality. The IS250 I got to wheel was the perfect car for me to start in, @john_pharaoh and the boys absolutely crushed it for me during service. Another massive thank you to @backroadsofappalachia, @overmountain_rally, and @teamoneil for making this dream of mine come true. And to all the awesome volunteers for keeping everything running smoothly. This was an incredible experience and made me feel something that I’ve never felt before behind the wheel of any car. This opportunity was dangerous because I’m hooked completely! And a big thank you to everyone who was cheering us on the entire event. This was a blast 💪🏼
