Before Jimmy Stewart became George Bailey in 'It’s a Wonderful Life', and long after the film became a classic, his story included a meaningful connection to The Salvation Army.

Stewart served as The Salvation Army’s National Christmas Chairman during the 1983 Christmas Campaign. Now, that connection is part of his story on the big screen. In jimmystewartmovie, Stewart is portrayed as Santa, delivering gifts to children at a Salvation Army orphanage, with the Red Shield featured in the scene.

The biopic arrives this November, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’.
