#Biggie gave his honest opinion on all of these rappers back in an unearthed interview in 1995 👀

German Hip Hop journalist Falk Schacht unearthed an interview Biggie gave to a Canadian magazine called “PEACE” in 1995. In this interview, Biggie was asked to rate his competition. Biggie gave his take on most of the Hip Hop community who were current back in 1995.

Swipe to check out Biggie’s take on #2Pac, #WuTang, #DJPremier, Da Brat, Craig Mack, Too Short, Naughty By Nature, Warren G, Eazy E, and many many more.

One of Biggie’s most interesting takes was on Bay Area legend E40. Biggie’s comments in this article got back to 40, who would later confront Biggie about his comments when Big was performing in California. It’s alleged that 40’s crew stepped to Biggie, and 40 stepped in to diffuse a situation which could’ve turned into a potential hit. The two rappers later resolved their differences. Frustratingly, for us fans, Biggie passed away before 40 and Big could collaborate.

Salute to big_c1 who was in the room when this interview was conducted and has confirmed that the interview was conducted on a promo trip to Toronto (Biggie’s first ever time in Canada). Biggie wasn’t drunk when he conducted this interview, but he was high.
