Batman had a contingency plan for almost everything—including becoming a Yellow Lantern.

When the Crime Syndicate’s invasion pushes the Justice League into collapse, Bruce reveals the tools hidden in the Batcave: Kryptonite, a Mother Box, a lightning rod, and a Sinestro Corps ring. When Power Ring and the villains corner Batman, he finally puts the ring on and attacks with giant yellow bats.

The ring runs out of power almost immediately—but the real twist comes when Sinestro arrives. After seeing Batman turn fear into a weapon, Sinestro tells Bruce he could become one of the greatest Yellow Lanterns ever. Not bad for a ring Batman used for only a few seconds.

Would Batman make a better Green Lantern—or a terrifyingly perfect Yellow Lantern?
