Throwback to one of my workouts where I gave every player a T-shirt with a message that meant something deeper than basketball:

UNWAVERING WORK ETHIC.
DRIVEN BY PURPOSE.
FUELED WITH PASSION.

Those weren’t just words I thought sounded good on a shirt. They represented principles I lived by then and still live by today.

Work hard. Live with purpose. Move with passion.

Whether you’re an athlete or not, those principles apply to life. Anything worthwhile requires commitment, purpose, passion, and the willingness to keep working even when nobody is watching.

The shirt was just a reminder. The message was always bigger than basketball.
