Today, we can’t wait to reveal our next Old Master for the 70th year program! Julie Dussliere graduated from Purdue University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in Russian from the School of Languages and Cultures. She graduated as an Academic All-Big Ten Conference honoree in swimming. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Slavic and East European Studies from Ohio State University. As a trailblazer, she gained the title of first female president for a region within the Paralympic Movement for the Americas. Dussliere has been awarded several distinguished honors including the International Swimming Hall of Fame Paragon Award (2015), the Purdue University College of Liberal Arts Emerging Voice Award (2012), and the United States Olympic Committee Paralympic Coach of the Year (2006). She is passionate about philanthropy, supporting the Rose Foundation of Phi Beta Chi, Purdue University College of Liberal Arts, the John Purdue Club, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Foundation. Dussliere currently sits as the Chief of Paralympic Sports for the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee. We are thrilled to honor Dussliere as one of our incredible Old Masters this year!
