Monday evening's Board of Education meeting was filled with recognition, excellence, and student talent! Superintendent Dr. Felisha Gould and Board President Jason Whitacre presented this month's Center Stage Awards, recognizing staff members who go above and beyond for our students and schools. They also celebrated Dan Schneck, a recipient of the prestigious Voya Unsung Heroes Award. Congratulations to all of our honorees!

The meeting was hosted by Stow-Munroe Falls High School, where Principal Amanda Murray shared some impressive achievements, including a 4.5-star Ohio Report Card rating, a 98.2% graduation rate, 29 varsity sports with 750 student participants, and 27 clubs involving 600 students!

Our talented Speech and Debate Club members also took the stage to showcase their skills. The program has plenty to celebrate, including finishing among the top 20 speech programs in the nation, earning state championships in competitive events for six consecutive years and celebrating its first national finalist! Jackson Moore placed sixth in Original Oratory at Nationals, competing in an event with 232 contestants.

Congratulations to our award recipients, high school students and staff on these outstanding achievements! We're proud to see the Heart of a Bulldog on display both inside and outside the classroom. ❤️💛
