Hey Folks, I’m Jonathan Pearce. I am a Professional Communications student and the programing manager for KMSU’s local access channel.
I got my start in broadcasting in high school doing Morning Announcements, Radio Shows, and Podcasts. (All of which are now lost media 💀) Minot State was my first and only choice, because of their broadcasting capabilities. Since coming here, I’ve devoted much of my time to the Pro Comm department and our students, to the detriment of some other classes.
Often, I try to hide behind the camera, like I’ll be doing this semester. This semester I’ll be directing the ONLY and BEST TV show on campus, Inside Out. While I have other projects under my belt like my game show Sabotage, my Movie Review’s, and an upcoming project for Leadership 301, my focus will be on Inside Out
When I’m not helping with KMSU, I work as a production assistant at KMOT. I help make local ads with the creative services team, assist the News department when they need it, and grab highlights for the Sports department.
I sporadically show up on campus but try to make myself available whenever someone needs something. Whether it is Technical Directing or just existing in case someone encounters problems, I’ll always try to help. If you ever need help with something Pro Comm or production related, just email me at mailto:jonathan.pearce@ndus.edu. Shameless plug for my Instagram and YouTube @prozilla482
