Newly released body camera footage from Arike Ogunbowale’s March arrest shows a tense moment involving fellow WNBA star Paige Bueckers. Police say the incident unfolded outside Miami nightclub E11EVEN after a celebration for Ogunbowale’s Unrivaled championship victory. Officers attempted to detain Ogunbowale following an alleged altercation with a security employee. In the footage, Bueckers and several others can be seen surrounding Ogunbowale and urging officers to allow them to handle the situation. As the crowd gathered, an officer drew a Taser and instructed everyone to back away, directing Bueckers to release her teammate. Ogunbowale was arrested on a misdemeanor battery charge, which was later dismissed in May after prosecutors declined to continue the case. 🎥: Miami Police Department #paigebueckers #wnba #arikeogunbowale #arrest #taser
