While I could never find enough words to share the full extent of my gratitude, I’d like to express a very special thank you to sjcdrums for 16 incredible years of pushing creative envelopes together: building not only drums, but a community.

When my brother brandensteineckert first introduced me to mike.lttc in the summer of 2010, I knew he was creating something unique, and I wanted to be a part of it. Fresh to the world of music myself, I was so excited about the potential to grow alongside a new, art-driven drum company that thought outside the box in every aspect of what they did. I didn’t know it at the time, but our shared journey would take us on some of the wildest adventures I could ever imagine.

SJC allowed my creative mind to run wild, knowing Mike and the team would be willing to execute it to the fullest extent — and then some. From hand-painting and designing kits, to collaborating with some of my artistic heroes, to traveling the world putting on our own DIY drum clinics, to creating lines of signature instruments…I’m so appreciative of the singular experience we shared. It couldn’t have been done in the same way with anyone else.

I could write a book on all the stories these drums collected. One day I will. For now, thank you SJC, Mike Ciprari, zachmatook and the entire extended team, and of course the #SJCfam. I’ll always be cheering you on. You changed my life, and I’m forever grateful.
