Originally from Nigeria, Rere explains that GCU’s same in-state and out-of-state tuition was important to her as an international student. She also shares how her university counselor helped her understand financial aid, scholarship opportunities and student employment while she pursued her Bachelor of Science in Biology with an Emphasis in Pre-Medicine.

Rere says she received multiple scholarships, including a President’s scholarship, a Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship and an in-state Grand Canyon scholarship, and that student employment helped offset her college costs. All in all, she describes the relief she feels from graduating debt-free.
