FRANKIE LAPENNA JUST FOUGHT A HUMANOID ROBOT IN A CAGE. 🤖🥊

This sounds like a scene from Real Steel, but it actually happened.

LaPenna stepped into a cage with EngineAI’s T800 humanoid robot in an event organized by San Francisco-based REK.

The robot was throwing punches, pushing forward, and even landing kicks.

But there’s an important detail: REK’s combat events use human pilots and teleoperation, meaning the robot is being controlled remotely by a human.

Still… watching a full-size humanoid robot fight a person inside a cage is absolutely wild. 💀

Robot fighting already exists.

Human vs. humanoid robot fighting?

That’s a whole different level.

Would you step into the cage with one? 👀🥊
