The defending AL Champions will not be returning to the postseason this year. 💔⁣
⁣
The Baltimore Orioles beat the Toronto Blue Jays 4-2 in the first game of a doubleheader Wednesday, eliminating the defending American League champions a season after they pushed the Los Angeles Dodgers to extra innings in Game 7 of the World Series. ⚾⁣
⁣
"Everybody knows that we went through a lot this year, a lot of injuries. That's not an excuse for myself or for the rest of the guys. We did all we could," Vladimir Guerrero Jr. said. "But it is what it is. Just go to the off-season and keep working hard, prepare myself again and be ready for next year." 🥲⁣
