Indian investors looking to invest globally now have another route: UCITS ETFs through INDmoney’s GIFT City setup.

Why does the structure matter?

A US-listed ETF can mean 25% US withholding tax on dividends for Indian investors.

With qualifying Ireland-domiciled UCITS ETFs, the fund-level US dividend withholding can be 15% instead — and with an accumulating ETF, those dividends can be reinvested within the fund automatically.
