Happy #ElephantAppreciationDay from our incredible bachelor herd at Toyota Elephant Passage: Groucho, Duncan, Billy, Baylor, Jake, and Bodhi! 🐘

These six Endangered Asian elephants receive world-class care every single day from specialized training and nutritional planning to research on socializing male elephants and the hormonal changes they experience during musth. Their training also allows them to voluntarily participate in vital medical procedures, including collecting blood and plasma to help combat diseases like EEHV.

With only around 40,000 Asian elephants remaining in the wild due to habitat loss and poaching, the work we do here matters, and so does the work happening on the ground in Asia through our conservation partnerships.

Come visit Toyota Elephant Passage and show our herd some love today! 🐘
