## Caption

Fall migration for hummingbirds in Alabama is underway, with peak migration expected in late September. Experts say you can help support their journey by keeping feeders stocked with a mixture of four parts water to one part sugar or by planting flowers that bloom in the fall.

Feeders should remain out for a couple of weeks after the peak migration period to help any late-season travelers. If the nectar becomes cloudy or appears questionable, clean the feeder and replace it with a fresh batch.
