A Lowcountry football player is suing the National Collegiate Athletic Association regarding a rule change involving player eligibility.

Malek Horlback, 22, played defensive end at Fort Dorchester High School and has played linebacker at Presbyterian College since 2022.

The lawsuit was filed in the State of South Carolina Court in Laurens County on Tuesday.
