he lowkey hit that 😭

Tyquan Thornton’s path to relevance in Kansas City is a real bounce-back story, going from getting waived by the Patriots in 2024 to earning a two-year, $11 million deal off a breakout 2025 season. He averaged a ridiculous 23.1 yards per catch last year, proof that deep speed threat role fits him perfectly in Mahomes’ offense.

He’s already showing it early this season too, hauling in four catches for 86 yards in a Week 3 overtime win over the Colts, looking every bit like the No. 3 option Kansas City’s counting on. Nobody expected much from Thornton a couple years ago, and now he’s turned himself into a real weapon in that Chiefs passing attack.

Does Thornton keep building on this role as the season goes on?
