A few days after being spotted out for dinner with his girlfriend, Lionel Richie has been hospitalized again and has cancelled 3 of his shows as part of his tour with Earth, Wind, & Fire.

“Lionel underwent a common procedure for Atrial fibrillation (AFib),” Richie’s representative said in a statement given to Variety. “The doctor said everything went perfectly… Lionel is doing great but will take some time off and will be back on stage soon.”

Don’t worry, the AFib procedure is very common and according to the Mayo Clinic, it is used to treat “an irregular and often very fast heartbeat.”
