## Caption

Spiritual awakening is not about becoming a better version of yourself.

It is discovering that the “self” you have been trying to improve was never your true identity.

The body appears.
The mind appears.
The personality appears.
The story appears.

But none of them are what I am.

Humans believe they are the body and the mind.

But when every thought becomes silent, what remains?

If I can observe my thoughts, I am not the thoughts.

If I can observe my emotions, I am not the emotions.

If I can observe the body, I am not the body.

So what is aware of all of this?

“What is aware?”

Do not answer with the mind.

Become still.

Even the sense of “me” can be observed.

When identification with the person begins to dissolve, life does not stop.

The body continues.
The mind functions.
Actions happen.
Life unfolds.

But the belief “I am the doer” begins to fall away.

There is less:

“I am living life.”

And more:

“Life is happening.”

This lifetime is not an opportunity to build a powerful successful identity.

It is an opportunity to realize your True Self, to go beyond your mind- body identity.

Ask:

Who am I before the name?
Before the story?
Before the personality?
Before the thought “I”?

Do not answer.

Stay still.

Stay silent.

Let everything you are not fall away.

What remains does not need to become anything.

It was always here. You are always Self-realised, but only ignorant of the fact. Find out who you are. Dive deep within. Enjoy your own eternal depth. Become your best friend. Find the Guru within. 
Be silent. Be still. 
Do not try to control your thoughts. Simply become aware of them.

Observe them without following, feeding, or dwelling on them, and they gradually lose their power over you.

What you do not identify with cannot control you.
