Chicago Squares Week 2:  @Chicago Bears  🐻 vs @Vikings  🟣 The Bears are back home at Soldier Field for the 2026 home opener against @jjettas2 and the Minnesota Vikings and this week's pizza is inspired by Minnesota's large Hmong population, the largest in the United States. Specifically, inspired by a traditional Hmong sausage, which of course, I made from scratch. It begins with cubed fatty pork shoulder, that I ground and mixed with a ton of aromatics; garlic, lemongrass, ginger, thai chili, scallions cilantro, fish sauce,  lime juice, and oyster sauce.  I then made kua txob, a Hmong hot pepper sauce that's spicy, acidic, and funky.  FInally, a fittingly Vikings' purple sticky rice. The pizza begins with the kua txob as the base, and gets topped the Hmong sausage, sticky rice, and shredded mozzarella. After a quick bake in my @gozney Dome XL, it's finished with lime zest, a squeeze of lime juice thinly sliced cucumber and cilantro for some added freshness. This pizza is an absolute flavorbomb with tons of punchy flavors that I am confident that have never  been served on a pizza before yet encapsulate the beautiful food of the Hmong people. Today's forecast looks like a wet one but let's hope our dynamic backfield of D'Andre and Kyle Monagai reign down all over the Vikings D and lead us to win but no matter if they win or lose, atleast the pizza was good. 🤷‍♂️ Big thanks to FS1 and Chicago's own, Danny Parkins for cameo sendoff! 🐻👇 #chicagobears #vikings #beardown #pizza #hmomg
