Grantee Spotlight: My Father’s House

My Father's House helps individuals returning from incarceration build stable, healthy futures by providing compassionate support during the critical transition back into the community. Through a holistic approach to reentry, the organization helps participants strengthen their mental well-being, navigate recovery, and develop the tools needed for lasting success.

With support from Caring for Denver, My Father's House is expanding access to coordinated mental health care by introducing a dedicated Mental Health Navigator and strengthening its partnership with several mental health agencies in the metro area. Together, they provide timely mental health assessments, individualized treatment planning, therapy, addiction recovery support, and ongoing care coordination that helps participants navigate the challenges of reentry. The organization is also expanding trauma-informed training for staff and participants, equipping everyone with practical communication and relationship-building skills that foster healing, resilience, and long-term recovery.

By combining personalized mental health support with compassionate reentry services, My Father's House is helping Denverites rebuild their lives, strengthen their relationships, and create lasting pathways toward recovery.
