Ottawa, you don’t need to bring a friend. That’s kind of the point. ☕️

Slow Sunday is back.

📍 Ron Kolbus Centre, by Britannia Beach
🗓 Sunday, October 4
🕘 9 AM–12 PM
🎟 Free to attend

There’ll be running. You don’t have to run.
There’ll be yoga. You don’t have to do yoga.
I’m bringing coffee and pastries for anyone whose preferred pace is sitting down.

Hanging out counts.

🧘 YOGA WITH sydflows

Go follow our yoga instructor, sydflows ! She’ll be leading a class and bringing a gift for EVERYONE who joins her class during the event. Come give it a try and show her some love.

🎤 POETRY, WITHOUT THE PRESSURE

Sign up beforehand to read, decide on the day, or just listen.

Can’t make it, or not feeling up to a crowd? You can still submit a poem. We’ll have submitted pieces on the projector throughout the event. Your words can be in the room, even if you’re not.

We’re also printing some pieces in a little poetry zine. Something from the morning you can keep.

🍄 FIND A GNOME. MAYBE WIN A PRIZE.

Findinggnomey is hiding several gnomes at the event, including ONE rare, prize-winning find. 👀

Find a gnome, post a photo, and tag BOTH us and Findinggnomey. He’ll identify the special gnome and award the prize to its finder once the photo is posted and he’s tagged.

We’ll announce what the prize is during the event.

Follow findinggnomey and keep an eye on his stories and posts leading up to Slow Sunday!

Comment “SLOW” and I’ll send you the free ticket link and poetry sign-up.

Send this to your “we should get coffee” friend.
Let’s actually do it.
