My path to design was anything but conventional.
I grew up surrounded by architects and designers, but my own path took me to Wall Street, where I spent more than fifteen years before eventually finding my way back to the world I grew up in.

That unlikely trajectory became my advantage.

The rigor of finance. The eye of design. An international life. And a genuine love of hosting and entertaining.

It’s a rare intersection, and one that has shaped everything I’ve created with Von Gern Home.

I’ve never thought of accessories as simply decoration. To me, they’re the final layer of a space - the pieces that give it personality, emotion and a sense of occasion.

From the table to the room, the point of view remains the same: considered, unexpected and personal.

New York based. Internationally commissioned.
